OTTAWA – On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, the Bank of Canada will publish a summary of the deliberations that took place ahead of its interest rate decision on January 25, 2023.

At noon (ET), journalists are invited to review the document, under embargo, at the Bank’s head office in Ottawa. Please use the Bank of Canada Museum entrance, located at 30 Bank Street (corner of Bank and Wellington), and bring photo ID.
For security reasons, journalists wishing to attend must confirm their presence by contacting at 613‑782‑8782 before noon (ET) on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Those who have not registered will not be admitted to the lock-up.
The embargo will be lifted at 13:30 (ET).
