As the Bank prepares for the 2026 monetary policy framework renewal agreement, the annual economic conference provided an opportunity to engage with experts from Canada and around the world on current economic issues. The 2024 conference theme was “Frontiers of Monetary Policy Design”, and the discussion helped inform our thinking as we conduct our review of the monetary policy framework.
