Bio

Beiling Yan is a Senior Economist in the Emerging Markets Division of the International Economic Analysis Department. Prior to joining the Bank, she was a Senior Research Economist at Statistics Canada and Export Development Canada, conducting research using large firm-level micro datasets. She has a wide range of research interests and has published research on international trade, exchange rate and prices, firm dynamics and productivity, labour demand and income distribution, R&D and innovation. Beiling Yan received her PhD in economics.
