Sylvia Xie is a Senior Analyst on the Financial Institution Statistics team within the Data and Digital Services Department (DDS) at the Bank of Canada. Her work focuses on regulatory supervision and reporting, financial sector analytics, and risk monitoring, including Canada's contributions to international reporting initiatives and the development of analytical solutions that support data quality, regulatory oversight, and policy analysis. Prior to joining the Bank, she held senior reporting, analytics, and financial management roles at OSFI, RBC, IMCO, and WSIB. Sylvia holds CPA and CFA designations.
