The Bank of Canada is inviting feedback on draft supervisory guidelines related to accreditation that will support its supervision of participants in Canada’s Consumer-Driven Banking Framework. These are the first in a series of supervisory guidelines the Bank plans to issue as the framework is developed and will be followed by consultations on additional draft guidelines.

The consultation gives stakeholders an opportunity to comment on the clarity, practicality and completeness of the proposed guidance, including implementation considerations and areas where additional detail may be useful.

Written feedback can be submitted by email to by December 8, 2026.
