Bio
Christine Charbonneau was appointed Senior Director, Financial Operations, effective October 2025. In this capacity, she is responsible for the Bank’s accounting, external financial reporting, internal control framework, payment operations, corporate travel services and other related finance functions of the Bank.
Ms. Charbonneau brings to the Bank more than 25 years of experience in organizational and change leadership, audit, finance systems, accounting and reporting in the private and public sectors. In her most recent Director role at Deloitte LLP, she was responsible for the provision of managed finance services to various organisations, including comprehensive accounting and business advisory services.
Prior to this, amongst others, she held the positions of Director, Finance Transformation, and Corporate Controller at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, where she had responsibility for financial reporting, finance systems, internal controls, and finance transformation initiatives.
Ms. Charbonneau is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Honours Accounting from the University of Ottawa.
