    OTTAWA – On Tuesday, 21 May 2013, Mark Carney, the Governor of the Bank of Canada, will speak before the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal.

    Lock-up

    At 11:00 (ET), copies of the speech will be made available to journalists under embargo at the Bank’s head office in Ottawa. The embargo will be lifted at 12:30 (ET). (Please use the East Tower entrance at 245 Sparks Street and have your press card with you.)

    At approximately 14:15 (ET), the Governor will hold a press conference in Salons 6 and 7, 3rd Floor.

    There will be no audience Q&A period.
