The Bank of Canada releases the winter issues of the Business Outlook Survey and the Canadian Survey of Consumer Expectations
On Monday, January 13, 2020, the Bank of Canada will release the winter issue of the Business Outlook Survey and, for the first time, it will publish the results of the Canadian Survey of Consumer Expectations. Canadian Survey of Consumer Expectations—Fourth Quarter of 2019
Survey results suggest that consumers’ inflation expectations declined slightly in the fourth quarter of 2019. Consumers’ expectations for their wage growth were largely the same as in the previous survey. Consumer expectations for house price growth went up somewhat in Canada. -
