Photography / Filming in the Garden Court

Visitors to the Currency Museum and members of the public are permitted to take photographs for personal use in the Bank of Canada's Garden Court. Larger groups, such as wedding photographs, must contact Public Affairs (613 782-8782) to obtain permission in advance, and must agree with the Bank's Rules of Use for the Garden Court. These rules include, but are not limited to:

Members of the news media who wish to use the garden court as backdrop for news reports must also contact Public Affairs (613 782-8782) to obtain permission in advance.

The Bank of Canada does not permit commercial photography or filming in the Garden Court.

Members of the public are encouraged to enter into and use the Garden Court of the Bank of Canada during business hours or when the Museum is open.

People wishing to hold events or other activities (during or after hours) in the Garden Court must contact Public Affairs (613 782-8782) to obtain permission in advance.
